Prior to their implementation of Timesheet Xpress, MedSense recorded time and activities on spreadsheet based timesheets. Each month someone was left with the unenviable task of analysing all projects with regard to the number of hours spent on client project. When collating the information, there were many issues – including simple things like different abbreviations used by various staff for the same client/project work – this made comparisons of logged time difficult to compare. A big area of concern was budget “over runs” where a job may exceed the cost budget allocated to it.
